THE IMMERCIAL METHOD™ — GOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE FRAMEWORK

Source of Truth
IMME issues all official templates, versions, IDs, certifications and governance updates via this website and the IMME platform. No redistribution or re-hosting of IMME templates is permitted. Always use the latest version released by IMME.

Governance ensures three outcomes:

  1. The Method remains consistent worldwide

  2. Users operate with the same high standards

  3. The IP remains protected and correctly applied

This framework is designed to be lightweight, transparent and supportive.

1. Version Governance

The Immercial Method™ is version-controlled across all templates, benchmarks and definitions.

Immercial governs:

  • the creation of new versions

  • updates and improvements

  • maintaining the master template register

  • releasing changes with clear notes

  • ensuring backwards compatibility where needed

Users must:

  • always download the latest version

  • delete old versions

  • not circulate legacy materials

  • follow updated processes

Version governance is the foundation of global consistency.

2. Brand & Identity Governance

To preserve clarity and trust:

  • All templates must retain IDs, watermarks, version numbers and footer licence.

  • Modifications must not remove or obscure IMME branding.

  • Modified templates cannot be represented as official IMME or Immercial versions.

This protects authenticity and ensures all users recognise official work.

3. Process Governance

The IMME workflow sequence must be followed.

Immercial maintains:

  • the sequence

  • the logic of deliverables

  • definitions and terminology

  • how each template connects to the next

  • best-practice assumptions

  • consistent naming conventions

Users follow the sequence exactly, ensuring no commercial or scope gaps.

4. Content Governance

Immercial governs:

  • templates

  • benchmarks

  • rates

  • assumptions

  • definitions

  • checklists

  • commercial logic

  • recommended methods of analysis

Companies may adapt templates but must not reinterpret or modify the core meaning of:

  • scope definitions

  • commercial logic

  • benchmark baseline principles

  • IMME terminology

This ensures clarity across organisations.

5. Access Governance

To keep the Method consistent:

  • Users must access IMME templates only from the official website.

  • No third-party sites may host IMME IP.

  • Requests for external hosting must be refused.

  • Resale, republishing or redistribution is prohibited.

Free access is maintained — but through one controlled point of truth.

6. Use Governance

Users are permitted:

  • internal use

  • internal adaptation

  • training within their own organisation

Users are not permitted:

  • external publication

  • resale

  • redistribution

  • platform embedding

  • training third-party AI with IMME IP

This protects both commercial value and global consistency.

7. AI Governance

This is essential for your future AI model.

Immercial controls:

  • which data feeds IMME AI

  • how templates, rates and benchmarks train the model

  • how accuracy is maintained

  • how updates are applied

  • preventing external AI systems from ingesting IMME IP

Users must:

  • not upload IMME IP to general AI tools

  • not use IMME IP to train external AI

  • wait for the official IMME AI (future release)

This ensures your AI becomes the single authoritative model for MEP QS.

IMME AI Governance
IMME AI is trained only on IMME templates, benchmarks and rates, follows the 19-step lifecycle and outputs in IMME formats. It will not export or reconstruct templates and will refuse out-of-domain requests.

8. Feedback Governance

Your system encourages global improvement.

Users can:

  • submit feedback

  • vote on template changes

  • highlight errors or gaps

  • request new templates

  • suggest enhancements

Immercial reviews:

  • community input

  • consistency with the Method

  • global applicability

  • clarity improvements

Community-driven governance keeps the Method alive and evolving.

9. Communication Governance

Immercial provides:

  • version updates

  • change logs

  • release announcements

  • upcoming improvements

  • guidance notes

Users should:

  • stay informed

  • follow updates

  • share changes internally

  • ensure teams are aligned on versions

This ensures every QS moves forward together.

10. Company Compliance Checks

Checks are light but important.
Possible checks include:

  • asking a company to confirm which template versions they use

  • requesting example outputs to verify correct application

  • reviewing modified versions for misuse

  • verifying that licence terms are respected

These are not audits in the traditional, heavy sense — they are alignment checks.

Companies are expected to respond cooperatively.

Organisation Accreditation
Requirements: use IMME templates across projects, correct version adoption, annual governance review, and holding an Organisation credential. Non-compliance → warning → 90-day correction → revocation if unresolved.

11. User-Level Compliance

Immercial may:

  • remind users to update versions

  • withdraw access if licence is breached

  • correct misuse of branding

  • request that redistributed materials be removed

  • clarify correct usage

This protects the Method for the benefit of all.

12. Certification Governance (future alignment)

Certification will be optional.
It will demonstrate:

  • mastery of the Method

  • correct use of templates

  • strong commercial reasoning

  • consistent application

Certification governance ensures:

  • clear assessment criteria

  • transparent renewal requirements

  • alignment with Method updates

  • credibility for individuals and companies

This ties seamlessly into your Academy.

13. Global Governance Philosophy

The Immercial Method™ is governed by three principles:

1. Clarity

Everyone understands what the standard is and how to apply it.

2. Consistency

A QS in London is aligned with a QS in Dubai or Singapore.

3. Integrity

The Method remains trusted, respected and unified.

Governance is not a restriction.
It is an enabler — a structure that supports global excellence.

Summary for governance-compliance

Template Governance
Every IMME template includes Template ID, Version and watermark. Versioning = Major (V2.0), Minor (V1.1), Patch (V1.01). Organisations must adopt new versions within 30 days.

Compliance & Audit
IMME conducts random checks, version-adoption tracking and sample project reviews. Outcomes may include advisory, correction request, retraining, suspension or revocation.

Global Registry
Certified individuals and accredited organisations may be listed (optional). Verification by Certification ID confirms status and validity. (Directory UI to be expanded in future.)
